Ivan manages a portfolio of client investments across a wide range of industry sectors. He has 20 years’ experience in Financial Planning and holds advanced professional qualifications (G60) with the Chartered Institute of Insurance in the UK. In addition, he has the Certificate in International Trust administration issued by the Society for Trust and Estate Planners (STEP). His company role is of Chief Operating Officer for the IFG Asia business.
Ivan has a significant knowledge on group retirement and employee benefit schemes and individual retirement planning and budgeting.
As a long term resident, Ivan has built a large network of contacts who specialize in wide ranging areas to assist expatriates with their overall planning, such as tax, banking, trust and will planning.
Career background
Started his career at the National & Provincial Building Society (now Abbey National PLC) before moving into Financial Services in 1990. Having worked in institutional mutual fund sales for 5 years, he moved into an investment advisory role specializing in Group pensions/ employee benefits and retirement planning. In September 2000 Ivan moved to Japan to continue his career advising expatriate investors on retirement and portfolio planning.
Interests
Ivan is a long suffering supporter of Leeds United Football Club, is a keen skier and has more than a mild interest in cricket. He is married with two children.
